Signs and symptoms to discuss with a clinician
- An abnormal MRI, CT, or radiology report that needs neurological correlation
- New seizures, focal weakness, sensory change, or cognitive decline
- Persistent headache with concerning clinical features
- Follow-up of known neurological disease or prior stroke
Emergency symptoms: Call 911 for sudden severe symptoms, new one-sided weakness, trouble speaking, a first or prolonged seizure, severe head injury, sudden vision loss, chest pain with fainting, or any rapidly worsening condition.
