Understand & manage
- Migraine can involve throbbing pain, nausea, and sensitivity to light or sound. Some people have aura; new neurological symptoms still need assessment.
- Keep a diary of headache days, medicines, sleep, meals, and possible triggers. Regular sleep, meals, hydration, and manageable activity can support care.
- Triggers differ between people. Avoid broad food restrictions without a clear pattern. Frequent pain-reliever use can worsen headaches; discuss acute and preventive treatment.
- VNG evaluates migraine, tension-type and cluster headaches. Individual care may include acute and preventive medicines, trigger review, and Botox for eligible chronic migraine patients.
