Understand & manage
- Tennis elbow involves tendons on the outside of the elbow. Repeated gripping or wrist extension can cause pain; playing tennis is not required.
- Reduce aggravating tasks and review tools, technique, and workstation setup. A clinician or therapist can guide gradual stretching and strengthening.
- Discuss braces and safe pain relief. Numbness or true hand weakness may suggest a nerve problem and deserves assessment. Recovery can take time; return to activity gradually.
